Job Description:

A company is looking for a Security Operations Center Analyst for a contract position with the State of Maine Office of Technology.



Key Responsibilities:

Manage vulnerability assessments and cyber threat identification under the direction of the Cyber Security Manager
Deploy and maintain cybersecurity toolsets while reviewing systems for security risks and recommending mitigations
Collaborate with business users to integrate cybersecurity protections into operations and assist with ticket queue management


Required Qualifications:

At least 10 years of information security experience focused on risk analysis, vulnerability assessment, and security testing
Experience with Endpoint Security, Incident Response, and Application Testing
Proficiency in Vulnerability Management processes
Knowledge of Windows or Linux systems and associated scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
Relevant technical security certifications are a plus (e.g., GIAC, ISC2, CompTIA, EC Council)
