Pay range and compensation package Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000

  About the Role As a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, you will ensure that products, systems, and services meet quality standards and customer expectations through the following tasks:
  Responsibilities
  • Testing: Conduct thorough tests to ensure products meet user requirements and guidelines, including identifying bugs and defects.
  • Reporting: Document and report findings to developers to facilitate issue resolution.
  • Creating Test Plans: Develop comprehensive test plans that define the scope, approach, and intensity of testing for each project.
  • Researching: Investigate issues based on feedback from franchisees and clients to identify the root causes and communicate them to programmers for resolution.
  • Analyzing: Review and analyze test results to pinpoint inefficiencies, bugs, and other issues within the product.
  • Identifying Solutions: Propose recommendations for improvements, solutions, and updates based on test findings.
    Qualifications Position Requirements:
    
    
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
    • Relevant certifications in QA methodologies or software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
    • Experience in software testing: Familiarity with both manual and automated testing processes for software, web applications, and systems.
    • Programming or scripting knowledge: Understanding of code to assist in test automation or identify potential bugs.
    • Bug tracking and reporting: Proven experience in effectively tracking and reporting software defects using bug-tracking tools.
    • Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze data from test results, utilizing logic to determine root causes and patterns.
    • Problem-solving capabilities: Quick identification and resolution of issues or inefficiencies during the testing process.
    • Meticulous approach to testing: A commitment to thoroughness and precision in identifying bugs and inefficiencies.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication: Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to developers and stakeholders.
    • Collaborative mindset: Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and franchisees to resolve issues.
    • Test plan creation: Proficiency in creating detailed, structured test plans outlining scope, objectives, and methodologies for testing.
    • Multi-tasking and prioritization: Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.
    • 3+ years of experience as a QA Analyst, Test Analyst, or a similar role.
    • Adaptability and flexibility: Willingness to adjust to changing project requirements and priorities.
    • Commitment to quality and adhere to and enforce high-quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle.
