AVP Annuity Rate Setting

Job Description:

A company is looking for an AVP, Rate Setting to lead the annuity rate setting for new and inforce business.

Key Responsibilities

Direct profitability reviews and make recommendations for adjustments
Lead analysis and present recommendations for credited rate adjustments and pricing assumptions
Oversee staff development and enhance departmental processes and analytical capabilities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or related field
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required; FSA preferred
Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) required
7+ years of actuarial experience with a focus on annuity products
Minimum 4 years of experience in improving efficiency and automation
