Job Description:
A company is looking for a Computational Scientist III to build
and maintain bioinformatics pipelines and collaborate with various
teams.
Key Responsibilities
Create efficient and optimized bioinformatics pipelines using data
science best practices
Develop and validate new products and features to enhance patient
care
Characterize data from molecular assays and guide protocol
development from a statistical perspective
Required Qualifications
PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or
related discipline
3+ years of experience analyzing large, noisy datasets in molecular
biology or human genetics
Experience leading cross-departmental projects and securing
necessary resources
Strong computational skills, preferably in Python and workflow
definition languages
Experience with CLIA-validated assays and Illumina Next Generation
Sequencing
