Job Description:
A company is looking for a Managed Care Coordinator/Insurance
Verification & Patient Estimates Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Manage insurance verification and patient price estimate
processes
Obtain and verify prior authorizations, benefits, and patient
financial obligations
Provide guidance on managed care issues and assist patients with
financial services
Required Qualifications
One year of experience in a medical office setting or one and a
half years in a high-volume public contact position with 6 months
in a medical office
Thorough knowledge of PAS policies and procedures
Advanced PAS user skills with extensive knowledge of integrated
care
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Excel skills and knowledge preferred
