We are a company on the move, growing in the Space area; with long history of innovative and exceptional performance, we have earned our place as a trusted provider to our customers. -This role will work with internal and external customers to design, -develop, and field Cloud architectures that meet the systems requirements and be involved -through the systems development lifecycle, including pursuit, developing a technical baseline, -developing requirements, system level software design, integration support, and system level -testing and selloff. Provide hands-on assistance to implementation and R&D teams to execute the development of awarded programs. Serve as technical expert in latest industry trends, tools and methodologies to continuously improve the delivery of our solutions. -Essential Functions:

• Support development and integration of Satellite Ground Systems solutions
• Work with team lead to help decompose the work needed to implement new features or address defects within the operational software.
• Work with the development team using agile methodologies combined with mature software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure.
• Develop new software and adapt existing software by implementing new capabilities.
• Maintain cognizance of industry tools, best practices, and procedures.
• Interface with customers to understand use cases and define requirements, design Cloud capable solutions, support system level testing, and field the solution in customer environments to support the mission
• Communicate with leadership on status, issues, milestones, and successes. -Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with -at least one of the following: Python, javascript/nodejs/typescriptPreferred Additional Skills:
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance
• Satellite ground systems development and integration
• Comfortable using Linux and Linux tools (sed, grep, awk, top, etc.)
• Postgres or other SQL database experience
• Cloud platform experience (e.g., AWS)
• Experience with Agile development processes (Agile, Scrum, Continuous Delivery)
• AWS Solutions Architect and/or AWS Sys Ops certification(s)
• Application programing with C++
• Excellent ability to analyze problems and to focus and drive down to the root cause of problems quickly.
