Delaware North Travel is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our
team at Fort Lauderdale Airport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of Food and Beverages: Prepare food and beverages
according to recipes and chef specifications.
Food Production and Sanitation: Follow recipes and food production
guidelines, using proper preparation techniques and sanitation
guidelines.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Set up and operate kitchen
equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with team members,
following procedures, taking directions, and working in a
fast-paced environment.
Math Skills: Understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements
and proportions.
Requirements
Age and Education: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability and Skills: Ability to understand recipes and food
abbreviations, work in a fast-paced environment, follow procedures,
and take directions.
Physical Abilities: Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching,
and repetitive motions, ability to lift 20 pounds or more.
Work Schedule
Available to work day shift, evening shift, Monday to Friday,
weekends, holidays, 8 hour shift, and overtime as needed.
