Job Summary and Qualifications Responsible for the program development, planning, implementation, assessment, coordination, maintenance and process improvement of a comprehensive chest pain, PCI, and cardiovascular surgery program that complies with national standards for quality of care as dictated by the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and The Joint Commission. What qualifications you will need:
  • BLS, ACLS Required
  • Registered Nurse, or Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • BSN from an accredited organization required
  • MSN or MBA Preferred
  • 3-5 years of nursing experience required
  • 2 years experience with, and knowledge of invasive and non-invasive cardiology procedures strongly preferred
  • 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac nursing (critical care, Cath lab, CV surgery) preferred
  • Prior experience as a Program Coordinator or Performance Improvement/Quality Coordinator preferred
