Job Description:

• Certification Details
• Separate remote UR team that completes utilization reviews however, the in-house case management team remains vigilant in ensuring that all diagnostic tests, consults, labs, procedures, etc. are necessary and completed in a timely fashion
• The average caseload is 25-30 patients/day during the week and varies during the weekend (weekend goal is coverage of observation patients and expediting safe discharges)

  • Case Manager RN; Ratio 1:25-30 Adults & Geriatrics; 5x8hr Days; 830a-5p Mon-Fri plus one full wknd every 4 weeks
  • No Call or Holidays; Hurricane sign-up required but not guaranteed
  • Minimum 3 years Case Management experience required at acute care hospital
  • Knowledge of Cerner, CarePort (Allscripts) applications and Powerchart
  • Familiarity with documents for Medicare Conditions of Participation
  • Ability to function in high paced/high volume atmosphere
  • Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
    • Job Requirements
    • Active FL/Compact license
    • Degree must be from an accredited school OR have a degree from an institution that is approved by FBON in addition to having 2 yrs recent acute care experience - experience must be consecutive within the past 24 months in a US hospital, per facility requirements
    • Locals considered - 60 mile Radius Rule
